q1 - (50-60)%. Although I'm really interested in working further, but I'm not sure of the time commitments as I will be in the final year of my graduation. Keeping that fact aside, I would 100% continue.

q2 - It would be better to pursue a well-scoped research project in the beginning, although I'm flexible in either.

q3 - I mostly work on problems that I well-relate to, and usually do it from first-principles thinking. Other than that, I'm quite flexible.

q4 - Python - (around 300-400 hours) ; MATLAB - (around 50-60 hours) ; R - (around 50-60 hours) ; C - (around 50-60 hours).

q5 - I'm really interested in working at the intersection of science and language models, as I believe that this area needs improvement, and there is currently a lot of misalignment between actual answers and LM generated answers.

q6 - On my best day, I like to spend equal times brainstorming and programming. I particularly like to discuss ideas with the team, and a meeting or two doesn't necessarily affects my productivity. I like to club reading papers in the brainstorming section itself. A very ideal breakdown would be something like(40 hour week) : Brainstorming : Around 10 hours. Coding : Around 20 hours. Meetings : Around 6 hours.

q7 - I'm well-versed in both research and development aspects of technical projects. I've worked in both academia and industry, and I believe I know the exploration vs exploitation tradeoff in real life well.
