The time is Summer 2024, and we need to be at our best game to have an awesome career ahead of us. We need to shoe excellent engineering skills + some hacky stuff to be able to crack decent stuff. Some pointers :
- Work both backwards and forward, we need to optimize from both ends.
- Get ready to write a LOT of code. I mean a LOT.
- make something that users can use.
What is on the agenda on for the holidays? Any work we will do will fall under any of these categories :
The categories as of now are 1. Research proficiency, 2. Arrakis, 3. (Programming proficiency + Exercises), 4. BDACC, 5. (Reading + Writing)
- Internship work. Could be anything/anywhere. Our work should be independent of it, and however harsh that sound, this is the final push we need to do.
- Research/Project Work. Research would be in Interpretability, where I'll be making Garcon enhanced library(Arrakis). Project we will see that will help us in interviews.
- Arrakis. This has to be done.
- Upskilling work. This will be very rigorous. This will include clearing our fundamentals, building on top of it, and implementing research papers and such. We will also look at some algorithmic stuff, but let's see how do we do it.
- Proficiency work. This will include reading books, working on productivity tools(Vim/Emacs), typing work and general getting to know everything around us. This is also include Git and all other productivity tools.
- BDACC work. I will be help people in doing Missing Semester of CS education, so we will need to create content for it.
- Reading and writing. I have to try to read some books, maybe we'll listen as well.
I'll mostly keep things loose, as I believe I work best in that case, plus there'll be plenty to free things to do apart from these.
